Groovetrack Featured Artist

Formed in the summer of 1994, MAXIMUM Bob possesses a sound that can be described in a single word - indescribable. Drawing from a wide variety of influences - Folk, Funk, Rock, Jazz, Pop - what has resulted is a pleasantly fresh, original sound. Making a big mark on the Central Pennsylvania music scene, the band has begun to branch out and expose their sound to other parts of the Northeast - New York, New Jersey, and Philadelphia.

Noted for their spontaneous, free-form style during live performances, the band prides itself in not only providing fans with a great time, but in having fun themselves. From the powerful vocals to the graceful saxophone to the tight, grooving rhythm section, MAXIMUM Bob has been winning rave reviews from diverse genres of listeners.

The saxophone, a rare instrument in today's popular music, enhances the already excellent songs and creates the "MAXIMUM Bob" sound - a sound which is getting airplay on stations all over Pennsylvania, such as WZZO in Allentown, WZMT in Wilkes-Barre, and WKPS in State College.
